Measure & Description




% of Tigard employees that are people of color

Represents the percent of City of Tigard employees who identify as "American Indian or Alaskan Native", "Asian", "Black", "Hispanic", or "Two or more races".

Our goal is to increase the percent annually so our workforce reflects the racial demographics of the Tigard community. According to the U.S. 2020 Census, the current percent of the Tigard community that are people of color is 26.90%.

 Direct COVID-19 Funding Relief

The dollar amount of funding directly available to community through grants, financial aid, utility rate increase delays, etc. Funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Support (CARES) Act.

Council Goal 2021-2023 COVID-19 Response Strategy 2.1: "Allocate and communicate how American Rescue Plan funds are assisting with recovery efforts"

Public Safety Advisory Board Recommendations to Council

Community members appointed to the Public Safety Advisory Board made eight recommendations to Council on public safety practices. Their full report can be found here.

The percent of the Tigard community that has technology (phone or laptop) available to them and has internet access.
