TRAFFIC IMPACTS

• For the most up-to-date traffic impacts during construction visit the ODOT project webpage here. Most of the work is scheduled during the day. Daytime work hours are from 7 AM to 6 PM. Some work may occur at night.

“ASR 3”

• The Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Well # 3 project will construct a wellhouse and equip the existing ASR Well #3 with a submersible pump and related equipment to connect ASR Well #3 to the Tigard Water System. Tigard’s ASR wells provide additional drinking water capacity on high-demand days, and are a reliable emergency source of water for the City’s water system. The work area for the ASR Well #3 project is generally limited to the SE corner of Elizabeth Price Park.
• Construction activities are expected to continue through summer 2024.
• Contractor is installing pipe and underground vaults, as well as preparing to lay the wellhouse foundation.
• Expect intermittent, limited traffic interruptions on SW Bull Mountain Road at SW 132^nd Avenue.

Main Street Phase 2

• The contractor will be working on the new curb and sidewalk construction on the west side of Main St. Two way traffic will be diverted to the east side of Main St.  Working hours will be from 7 AM to 5 PM. See additional updates here.
• Coffee with the Contractor at Symposium Coffee every Thursday at 9:00 AM. Contractor and City project manager will be available for questions.

General Contractor will 

• Maintain and upgrade erosion control measures.
• Install street lighting conduit and light pole bases.
• Installation of flashing beacons.
• Electrical work in an underground vault at the intersection of Fonner and 121^st Ave.
• Roadway improvements will include pavement widening to accommodate bike lanes, sidewalks, street lighting, water line and storm drainage improvements.

BMW Automobile Dealership

• On-site work will be ongoing until late spring 2023 for new BMW car dealership at SW Cascade and SW Scholls Ferry Road, (formerly Orchard Supply Hardware).
• Expect intermittent traffic interruptions with construction vehicles going in and out of the site.

Brookside Subdivision 

• Brookside Subdivision is under construction at SW 79^th Avenue and SW Ashford Street.

Dirksen Nature Park – Parking Lot and Pathway Improvements

• Construction is ongoing at Dirksen Nature Park.
• The General Contractor is working on the boardwalk.
• When the trail is closed off, please use the pedestrian detour route set up to move trail users around the park.  The trail will be open during weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays.  Trail users will experience rough gravel surfaces in work areas.

 Dirksen Nature Park – Tigard Street Community Trail 

• Contractor is preparing the Learning Center parking lot for paving.
• The rock base for the new Community trail is nearly complete.  Contractor is waiting for a weather opening to pave the trail. 
• Landscape planting work is expected to start this week.

• Development is currently under construction at SW 92^nd Ave and SW Waverly Dr.
• Expect periodic traffic delays due to utility work.

Hampton Street Apartments

• Site work is active. Location: Corner of Hampton Street and 70^th Avenue for a new 5 story apartment building.
• Contractor will be doing a half- street improvement on 70^th Avenue including planters, new sidewalk, and road construction/paving.
• Contractor will also be doing the same improvements mentioned above in front of the site on Hampton Street.

Heights at Bull Mountain – Phase 1

• Project is located between Bull Mountain Road and Beef Bend Road.
• Frontage improvements will begin soon with light traffic impacts expected.
• The contractor has started grubbing, clearing, and taking down trees. At this time they are entering the site from SW 120^th Ave. entering/exiting the site from SW Winterview Dr., Thornwood, and Aspen Ridge.
• The contractor is planning to install new roads before the upcoming winter season, 2022/2023.

Kruger Creek Stabilization

• Contractor has begun work to fix erosion issues along Kruger Cr. between Greenfield Dr. and Gaarde St. 
• Construction access will be from SW 129^th just South of Gallin Ct.

Metzger Pipeline East

• Seismically resilient drinking water pipelines being constructed near Tigard for Tualatin Valley Water District, City of Beaverton, and City of Hillsboro customers.
• Roads impacted include: SW Scholls Ferry Road from SW Roy Rogers Road to SW Allen Boulevard, SW Cascade Avenue north of SW Scholls Ferry Road, SW Hall Boulevard between SW Oleson Road to SW Scholls Ferry Road, SW Allen Boulevard from SW Scholls Ferry Road to SW Western Avenue, and Western Avenue.
• Construction began mid-2021 and is anticipated to conclude in late 2024.
• Expect traffic delays for work within SW Scholls Ferry Road at SW Cascade Boulevard and on SW Cascade Boulevard north of SW Scholls Ferry Road.

River Terrace Area Construction

• New project site called River Terrace Town Center (former blueberry farm) on Roy Rogers Road is underway with new utility pipe-work as site-preparations and grading are complete.
• Many projects in River Terrace are currently under construction, particularly on the east side of Roy Rogers Road, south of Scholls Ferry Road. See River Terrace Construction Impacts for more information.
• Construction is ongoing at River Terrace East Phase 3 Subdivision, which is located at the intersection of Larkwood Place and Forest Hollow Street.
• South River Terrace Phase 1, a subdivision located south of Bull Mountain Road and east of Roy Rogers Road, is under construction.
• Art Rutkin School, located east of Roy Rogers Road and south of the South River Terrace subdivision, is under construction.
• River Terrace Crossing is under construction activities with half-street improvements along SW 150^th between Hawk Ridge Rd and Huntwood Ct.

Terrace Glen Apartments

• Construction is ongoing at SW Greenburg Road at Washington Square Road for new multi-story apartment building.
• Expect brief delays on SW Greenburg Road for construction vehicles going in and out of the site.
• Work in public right-of-way will be limited to utility connections (water, stormwater and sanitary sewer), with new driveway and sidewalk improvements on frontage.
